

Parenting Journey
The Parenting Journey Home Visiting Program is a program to support children ages 0-18 and their family's well-being, safety and development. Our home visitor works with you by providing resources, ideas, tools, as well as connecting you with other supports that may be helpful for you and your family.
Your parenting journey consultant can...

Meet with you in your home, at our centre, or any other community gathering place.

Provide individualized support to parents, children and youth.

Connect you with other community resources and provide support as needed.

Attend appointments with you such as school, counselling, medical, legal, food bank, etc.

Share important information on child, youth and family growth and development.

Provide regular visits and phone calls to support you in reaching your family's goals.
What else do I need to know?

The program is free of charge.

It is not a clinical counselling program.

Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw any time.

The Parenting Journey Home Visitor is a visitor in your home and will respect this fact.

We will gather information about your family's strengths and where you need support.

We will use this information to develop a Family Plan.

Any information you share is kept confidential and private (unless shared with permission or mandated by court order).
